The Apache began as the Model 77 for the United States Army’s Advanced Attack Helicopter program to replace the AH-1 Cobra. The prototype YAH-64 was first flown on 30 September 1975. It was developed by the renowned aerospace company McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing), and was introduced into service in the early 1980s.

The AH-64E Apache Guardian is a beacon of innovation, showcasing how a legendary platform can be transformed to meet present and future challenges. With enhanced avionics, expanded capabilities, and an unwavering commitment to crew safety, the Apache continues to assert its dominance on the battlefield, maintaining its status as a relentless force in modern aviation.
